Quick Tip for Remembering Sign of Derivatives of Trigonometric Functions

Derivative of sin(x) is cos(x) but derivative of cos(x) is –sin(x). For all those who find it a little hard to remember which trigonometric function’s derivative is negative and vice versa, here is a quick tip for free!
All those trigonometric functions starting with letter ‘C’ have negative derivatives! However in case of hyperbolic trigonometric functions, only the reciprocal functions (sech, cosech and coth) have negative value derivatives. Check any derivatives table and see it yourself! Isn't it a handy tip?
